My Superpower
My Leadership Lesson
My Leadership Motto
I serve as Vice President of Systems at Precision, where I oversee our technology infrastructure, OEM and rail integrations, EDI platforms, and the internal systems that support operations across the business. At a high level, my role is to ensure our technology works for our people. This means bridging legacy and modern systems, aligning data between partners, and designing solutions that reduce friction rather than add to it. I’m often referred to as the company “fixer,” stepping in when systems feel disconnected, outdated, or unnecessarily complex and helping bring them back into alignment.
I’ve spent most of my career in IT and systems leadership roles across the United Kingdom and South Africa. From 2006 to 2011, I lived in Cape Town, where I ran a consultancy focused on technology solutions and systems design. That experience shaped how I approach challenges today, combining technical depth with a practical, business-first mindset.
I first worked with Precision in 2015 as the account manager for their software supplier, which gave me a deep understanding of the business from the outside in. I officially joined the company in 2017, bringing that perspective with me. Having seen technology evolve from dial-up to real-time integrations, I’ve developed an approach that bridges legacy systems with modern platforms and makes them work together effectively.
What drew me to Precision was the opportunity to build. Vehicle logistics is complex, and strong systems make a measurable difference. I saw the chance to design and implement integrations that not only support operations but also help OEM partners better understand and use their data.
What I value most about my role is solving the problems that matter. I enjoy identifying patterns in recurring issues and building sustainable solutions instead of temporary fixes. There’s something rewarding about turning confusion into clarity. I also value the people. Great outcomes come from collaboration, asking for input, and staying open to improvement. Technology is powerful, but collaboration is what makes it work.
